Your Jaya Yoga Life instructor, Pamela Wilson, trained at the Sivananda Yoga Ashram in Val Morin, Quebec, Canada in 1988 with Swami Vishnudevananda, author of The Complete Illustrated Book of Yoga and The Sivananda Companion To Yoga, and founder of the International Sivananda Vedanta Organization. He gave her the spiritual name Gopi. She has additional certifications in a range of Yoga Therapies, Yoga of the Heart (Cancer and Cardiac Conditions), Life Force Yoga (Anxiety and Depression), Yoga for Grief Relief, Yoga of Recovery (Helping to Heal Addictions), Yoga and Ayurvedic Therapy, and Yoga Nidra among them. She has further training in Structural Yoga Therapy and mentoring Self-Created Guided Visualizations.
